My name is Anthony Queen but I prefer to go by Tony. It's a bit easier to get out and to the point.I, on the other hand am the complete opposite. As my blog suggests, I love to ramble and just go on and on and on and on and on and well yeah you get the picture. This rambling translates into my writing sometimes as well. It's hard for me to keep my thoughts aligned because my brain is always thinking way too far ahead. I am a double major in broadcasting and journalism. I want to go more into the radio or TV side of things, but I know that a healthy background of writing is a good booster. I do like to write though. I love writing down my rambles that don't necessarily follow a specific train of thought, but when it comes to professional writings I have a tough time. I am a perfectionist so I really want my first draft to turn out perfect, so I actually do editing on the fly. So as a writer I would like to get a lot more comfortable with drafts not being perfect and knowing that it will get better as I progress.
Learning to draft is one of the hardest things, I think, especially if you are a perfectionist. Once you learn to do it, though, it can be so freeing. I think you'll find writing very important for your career goals, so it's good that you're already comfortable with writing to think. I would have liked to know more about you as a person, though.
